The symposium was titled "School Teams Making a Difference Through Knowledge, Support and Action". The videos are free and on demand. EQAO hopes "that these videos will become a useful tool in helping you to engage in constructive dialogue about balanced assessment and will support your efforts to further improve student learning."</description><pubDate>2010-01-27 22:02:56</pubDate><link>http://oame.on.ca/main/</link></item><item><title>Canada&rsquo;s next census - May 2011</title><description><img src="http://www.oame.on.ca/main/images/census.jpg" style="float: right; padding-right: 6px;" />Statistics Canada&rsquo;s 2011 Census Teacher&rsquo;s Kit is designed for grades K-12. Each kit contains eight cross curricular activities that are classroom-ready and have been tested to meet provincial curriculum standards. Subject areas covered include language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, geography, history, visual arts, and ESL, allowing students to understand how the information collected in a census can be used. The 2011 Census Teacher&rsquo;s Kit is available free to Educators. Quantities are limited.
