PI

The pie that we usually know,
Is one we might take to go.
Topped with a touch of whipped cream,
It’s everyone’s secret dream!

Our pi goes forever around
On top of a circular ground
Everyone has an infinite slice
There’s more than enough to suffice

We know it starts with 3,
That’s more than enough for me!
Then there comes the point one,
So the four’s gotta run

A circle fits in a square,
As the diameter ratio stays fair.
A circle lets a triangle inside,
As long as the law it abides.

At school we round pi short,
So the problem, we don’t abort.
Although at school, we have yet to say,

Pi’s our favourite symbol today.
