What you need to know:
1) Every team must choose a unique NUMBER to identify themselves with. Numbers can be any number possible - but no repeats allowed - so register early to get the NUMBER you want! (The organizing committee has designated themselves as Team 2014 - so you can't have 2014 as a number.) Numbers chosen will be added to the home page on a regular basis as teams register.
The following numbers have already been chosen:

2) Each team must prepare a team poster and a team chant to be presented upon registration when you arrive at the OMO 2014 on Friday afternoon.
The team poster must contain
- the words "OMO 2014" somewhere on the poster
- the name of your chapter, somewhere on the poster
- your team number prominently displayed on your poster
- as many interesting facts, designs, connections to your team number as possible (use numbers, words, and pictures).
- be creative and have fun !!
The team chant must contain
- the name of your chapter
- your team number
- the purpose of the team chant is to highlight your team and what makes it unique (which can also mean what makes your team number unique or special).
- the team chant can be an actual chant, or a song, or a rap, or spoken word poetry
- the team chant must be performed by all 4 student members of the team (your artistic choice if all together, or in turns, or some combination thereof)
- content of the chant must be socially acceptable, no foul language, or derogatory to other people or teams
3) APRIL 30th, 2014 is the deadline to register mathletes and chaperones (names, health/allergy info, shirt sizes needed). Cost per person is $110.

4) A practice / regional playdown math contest has been prepared by the OMO 2014 contest committee and is available to OMO coordinators. You may use this in your chapter as your regional finals contest, or as a practice for your winning teams. Please do NOT publish these questions or distribute until after all regionals have been completed (May 10th). Contact the OMO chairs if you did not receive your package.
