The OAME Executive consists of Executive Director, the current OAME President, its Past President or President-Elect, and Vice-Presidents. The Emeritus Executive Member is a non-voting advisory member of the OAME Executive.
The OAME Board of Directors include the OAME Executive plus a slate of elected OAME Directors (each one elected for a three year term), a Chapter Representative from each OAME chapter, as well as four appointed members - the NCTM representative, the Editors for the Gazette and the Abacus, and the Website Coordinator.

Dear OAME/AOEM Members,
The Board of Directors is writing to inform you of an immediate change in the position of the Executive Directors of the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME/AOEM). Effective immediately, Lynda Ferneyhough and Fred Ferneyhough no longer represent OAME/AOEM in any capacity. Sandra Jean Price, who was to assume the position of Executive Director as of September 1, 2026, has agreed to serve as Acting Executive Director, effective immediately. Organizational Continuity: All planned projects, including the OAME 2026 Conference and virtual conference, are moving forward. We are committed to ensuring our members and chapters continue to receive the support and resources they expect from us. Communication: We ask that all official inquiries, correspondence, or questions regarding OAME operations be directed to Kit Luce (President of OAME/AOEM) kit.luce@oame.on.ca or Sandra Jean Price (eds@oame.on.ca). We appreciate your patience and your continued dedication to mathematics education in Ontario during this transition.
