Check out the latest OAME Position StatementsWhat's been happening this past year?
Over the past year, a number of major changes have occurred to the OAME website, and the accompanying MCIS conference registration website. The websites have been switched to a new server with a new internet service provider, and much of the underlying code has been tweaked and rewritten to provide the same or better and faster results.
What has changed with the website ?
- Both the OAME main website and MCIS have been made more responsive to screen size. Most pages try to resize themselves so they fit on whatever device is being used.
- On the main OAME website:
- When screens are narrow (either a narrow tab in your browser, or on a mobile device), the left and/or right hand panels are shrunk into "hamburger" buttons (which will then re-expand them, when needed)
- When using really narrow screens, such as smartphones, the main menu bar (in black) switches from using words to icons to represent the major functions of the OAME website. Other text is also shrunk, and some layouts adjusted to be optimized for smaller devices.

- Many pages and functions have been tweaked and optimized for performance.
- NOTE: If you do find something that is not working as it used to, or needs improvement, please email the webmaster (web@oame.on.ca) so that it can be corrected!
